Scott Jones

Specialist, Participant Operations

Scott grew up in St. Thomas, Ontario before heading to the deep south of Georgia and South Carolina for school and to start his career in Sports Management. He's been back in Canada for three years, and while he may have lost most of his southern drawl in that time, his love for hot summer days on the golf course and ice-cold sweet tea remains strong.

Scott will be managing a lot of the logistics and operational needs of the Relay to help ensure that all Medal-Bearers are well informed, ready to walk/run/wheel their segment of the Relay and get to where they need to be when they need to be there. It's fitting that Scott is in this role, as it seems like he is always moving. He has had over 20 different addresses, while living in nine different cities. (As a kid, his mother said he could never sit still for five minutes).

When Scott is not working to make sure that every Medal-Bearer has an amazing experience on the Relay, you can find him playing beach volleyball, trail running in the mountains or training for his next Ironman triathlon. Now that's REALLY moving!
